Tomorrow, March 5, journalists can move freely during the House of Representatives election by showing IDs from the Department of Information, the Office of the Communications Registrar, or the Election Commission.

Narayan Prasad Bhattarai, spokesperson and joint secretary of the Election Commission, confirmed that reporters can use these IDs to collect and transmit news as well as to travel on election day.

For journalists and media staff without a Ministry-issued press card, the Commission has provided special passes to ensure smooth movement. Security agencies have also been informed about the arrangement to facilitate access.
