Kathmandu : Nepali Congress (NC) President Sher Bahadur Deuba has underscored the need to ensure youth participation through party’s general convention.
President Deuba highlighted the crucial role of youths to unify the party in the upcoming 15th general convention. He told this to the youth leaders of the party who reached to meet Deuba in his residence.

He urged the youth leaders to create atmosphere for assuring youth participation in central member of the party through upcoming general convention.
NC’s 15th general convention will be held in the stated time on 10-12 January 2026, the President assured.

A group of youth leaders, including former President of Nepal Student Union (NSU) and Constituent Assembly member Ranjeet Karn, former vice presidents of NSU Pushpa Kumar Shahi and Nabin Rai, former general secretary of NSU Deepak Bhattarai, Shiva Rimal, Bardri Aryal, and Dilip Dhungana, among others had reached to meet Deuba.
