poet Anjan’s ‘Ekal Anjan Saanjh’ was organized

The ‘Ekal Anjan Sanjh,” a Ghazal recitation and singing event by young Ghazalist NB Anjaan, was held amid the presence of a large number of literary figures in the capital on Saturday.

At the programme coordinated by poet Prajwal Adhikari and organised by the Godhuli Literary Foundation, singer Raj Sagar accompanied Anjaan in the musical performances. The function was moderated by Ghazalist Babu Tripathi.

Anjaan, who has been actively contributing to various genres of literature for a long time, received overwhelming applause and calls for an encore from the audience during the recitation.

Anjan is known for his quiet dedication to his writing and staying away from the limelight. He also writes and directs films. Critics opine that he stands as an example for those seeking overnight fame.

He has authored several books, including Ghazal collections Marubhumi Sahitya Yatra, Aahuti, Mausam, Haiku collection Aadha Inch and Rubaiyat collection Kopila. At the function, Anjaan was also honoured with the Godhuli Sahitya Samman.
