Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) Chair Rabi Lamichhane has expressed confidence that the “flight” being carried out by the government under his party’s leadership will safely reach its intended destination.

Addressing a program in Kathmandu on Saturday evening, Lamichhane said that turbulence may occur during the journey due to changing weather conditions, but it should not be interpreted as a sign of an impending accident.

Urging the public not to be worried about the government’s work, he said his party has the capacity to deal with difficult situations. “Do not worry. We have taken this flight toward its destination. Sometimes turbulence may occur because of weather conditions, but we will take you safely to your destination. We are here,” Lamichhane said.

He stated that the RSP has the ability to manage challenges and continue moving forward even in adverse circumstances. Referring to the party’s younger members, he said many of them are eager to bring about change, and their energy and commitment will help make the journey successful.

“Our party has the maturity and leadership needed to handle problems if they arise. We have young people who are determined to contribute to change,” he added.

Lamichhane also claimed that the RSP-led government is working in accordance with the commitments it made to the people. He said there is no need to panic over the ordinary obstacles that may appear along the way, as the government is moving ahead with good intentions.

“During a journey, an aircraft may sometimes shake when it passes through clouds. But that does not mean it is going to crash,” he said.
