Kathmandu: RSP reinstates Rabi Lamichhane as party president . The former deputy prime minister reclaimed his Nepali citizenship after the Supreme Court stripped him of all posts over citizenship.

Lamichhane, whose status as Deputy Prime Minister, Home Minister and party president was scrapped on Friday by the apex court, reacquired Nepali citizenship and returned to the party top post on Sunday.

Supreme Court annuls Rabi Lamichhane’s status as lawmaker . The Constitutional Bench concluded that the citizenship presented by Lamichhane to contest the election is invalid.
