Kathmandu Stating that there is a general influence of western winds in the country, the Department of Water and Meteorology has said that the weather will be clear in the rest of the hilly areas. Some places in the plains and hilly areas have been affected.
The temperature in Kathmandu Valley is continuously decreasing. The minimum temperature here this morning was 8 degrees Celsius, but now it has improved slightly and reached 10 degrees Celsius. The department has predicted that the maximum temperature in the federal capital today will be between 19 and 21 degrees Celsius.
According to the department, the weather will remain clear in the hilly parts of Koshi, Wagmati, Gandaki and Karnali provinces this afternoon. There is a possibility of light rain at one or two places in the hilly parts of Koshi, Wagmati and Gandaki regions and light snowfall at one or two places in the high hills and Himalayan parts of Koshi and Gandaki regions.
