Kathmandu – A courtesy call has been held between Home Minister Om Prakash Aryal and Christian Holz, Regional Representative for South Asia of the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC).
During the meeting, Minister Aryal expressed gratitude for the support UNODC has been providing to Nepal in areas including drug control. He also said that cooperation with UNODC could be further enhanced.
UNODC Regional Representative Holz stated that cooperation with the Government of Nepal will continue and also appreciated the support and readiness provided by the government in the operation of UNODC programs.
The courtesy call held at the Ministry of Home Affairs was attended by the head of the Ministry’s Policy, Planning, Monitoring and Evaluation Division, representatives from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and representatives from UNODC Nepal.
