World’s largest single tidal power unit “Fenjinhao” was connected to the grid on April 29

Kathmandu: The world’s largest single tidal power unit “Fenjinhao” was connected to the grid on April 29 in Daishan County, east China’s Zhejiang Province. The unit is designed to generate 2 million kWh of electricity per year and is expected to cut CO2 emissions by 1,994 tonnes.
