Nepal Election Commission Completes Printing of 3 Million Ballot Papers for House of Representatives Elections

The Election Commission of Nepal has stated that printing of 3 million ballot papers for the first past the post electoral system was completed for the upcoming House of Representatives elections scheduled to be held for March 5. According to the EC, nearly 1.1 million sample ballot papers are being printed for the voters’ education purpose. The Election Commission stated that the ballot papers have been printed at Janak Education Materials Limited, Bhaktapur. Printing of ballot papers for the proportional representation system has already been completed. A total of 28,030,000 ballot papers for the PR system were printed.
