Kathmandu : The Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP) has released its election manifesto in preparation for the upcoming House of Representatives (HoR) elections scheduled for March 5.

RPP Chairman Rajendra Lingden presented the election manifesto at an event at the party’s central office in Dhumbarahi today.

The party’s election manifesto focuses on promoting prosperity through political stability, good governance, economic reforms and social justice in the country.

Furthermore, the manifesto has emphasized capital formation, sustainable development, education, accessible health care service, social security and youth-oriented production and job creation by highlighting the party’s vision for political stability, effective governance and transparency in public administration.

On the occasion, RPP leader Rajaram Shrestha noted that a strategic roadmap was outlined to elevate the country into a middle-income status by 2087 BS. The party’s proposal includes initiatives for poverty alleviation, technological advancement, infrastructure development, urban planning and productivity improvement as well as effective public service delivery.

The manifesto asserts that national independence, integrity, unity, sovereignty, and the safeguarding of natural, religious, and cultural heritage, as well as national security, will constitute the party’s core policies. It aims to contribute 82 percent to the GDP of the national economy and 77 percent to capital formation through sectors such as water resources, tourism, agriculture and information technology.

Furthermore, the party has pledged to establish a Vedic Sanatan Dharma (religion)-oriented to the Hindu nation with a two-tier of governance.
