Kathmandu : Dr Kadir Alam has been appointed as Chairperson of Nepal Pharmacy Council.
Newly appointed Chairperson Alam took the oath of office and secrecy in presence of Minister for Health and Food Safety, Nisha Mehta, today.

Out of the candidates who had filed application for the post of chairperson of the Council, Dr Alam has been appointed to the post, according to Minister Mehta’s Personal Secretariat.

On the occasion, Minister Mehta instructed newly appointed chairperson to play active role in pharmaceutical services and education, professional regulation and public trust enhancement by making the Council further effective, transparent and accountable.
