I am a Modern Durga 

A Poem Composed by Sushant Kumar B.K  

I hold my head high with pride
Like the Mount Everest.
I sing more refined verses
Of equality,
Of justice,
Than the ancient Yogmaya;
So, you cannot undress me.
Nor can I be trodden by you
Like the Draupadi of Mahabharata.
You can’t write
My history of body.
I am a modern Durga
Beyond a sword;
I have also a revolutionary pen.
