MAT December Opens Doors to India’s Leading Management Institutes

New Delhi  – The All India Management Association (AIMA) has announced the participating B-Schools for the December session of the Management Aptitude Test (MAT), one of India’s most trusted and popular national-level management entrance exams since 1988. Approved by the Ministry of Education, Government of India, MAT continues to serve as a preferred gateway to over 600 leading management institutions across India, offering access to more than 20,000 MBA and PGDM seats.

With a legacy spanning over 35 years, MAT is the only exam conducted in both Computer-Based Test (CBT) and Paper-Based Test (PBT) modes, offering candidates the flexibility to appear in both formats and use their best score for admission.

This December, several top-ranked and emerging management institutions have joined the MAT network, reflecting its strong industry recognition and nationwide reach. The participating B-Schools represent every region of India, with a partial zone-wise list featuring:

  • Central Zone: Indian Institute of Forest Management (IIFM), Bhopal

 

  • East Zone: National Institute of Technology (NIT) Silchar, Indian Institute of Social Welfare and Business Management (Kolkata), Development Management Institute (Patna), Calcutta Business School (Kolkata), and L. N. Mishra Institute of Economic Development & Social Change (Patna)

 

  • West Zone: N. L. Dalmia Institute of Management Studies and Research (Mumbai), Dr. D. Y. Patil B School (Pune), Pune Institute of Business Management (Pune), and Entrepreneurship Development Institute of India (Gandhinagar)

  • North Zone: Birla Institute of Management Technology (Greater Noida), Delhi School of Business (VIPS-TC, New Delhi), New Delhi Institute of Management (NDIM), Jaipuria Institute of Management (Noida), and National Institute of Technology (NIT) Kurukshetra

  • South Zone: Vellore Institute of Technology (Vellore), School of Business and Management – CHRIST (Deemed to be University, Bengaluru), Alliance School of Business (Bengaluru), Jain University (Bengaluru), Acharya Bangalore Business School (Bengaluru), Xavier Institute of Management & Entrepreneurship (Chennai), Amrita School of Business (Coimbatore), PSG Institute of Management (Coimbatore), Institute of Public Enterprise (Hyderabad), School of Management Studies -University of Hyderabad, National Institute of Technology (NIT), Surathkal, Indian Institute of Plantation Management (Bengaluru), and

Institute of Insurance and Risk Management (Hyderabad)

  • International: BITS Pilani Dubai Campus

These institutions offer MBA and PGDM programs with diverse specializations, including Marketing, Finance, Human Resources, Operations, Business Analytics, International Business, Sustainability Management, Forest Management, Retail Management, Entrepreneurship & Innovation, Agribusiness, Plantation Management, and Logistics & Supply Chain Management.
