PM Balen Shah begins discussion with lawmakers

Kathmandu : Prime Minister Balendra Shah has begun discussions with federal lawmakers. As part of the discussion, PM Shah talked to lawmakers of various political parties from Koshi and Karnali Provinces in Singha Durbar today.

A lawmaker of the Rastriya Swatantra Party, Ashok Kumar Chaudhary, informed that PM Shah held the discussion with the lawmakers on problems facing the provinces and necessary intervention measures. “PM Shah took sector specific briefings. Even the works to be carried out immediately were discussed on the occasion,” he added.

He also suggested the PM that he took initiation to amend Section 38 (8) of Labour Act, 2074 to stop collection of levy by the trade unions.
